Ant Group's Zhuang Zhan: Global Token Consumption Expected to Grow Over 300x by 2030

Zhuang Zhan, Dean of the Research Institute at Ant Group, stated that tokens, data, and tools have become the most core production factors in the digital era, driving operation and evolution of intelligent agents. He further predicted that with the explosion of agent-based applications, token consumption will see exponential growth. By 2030, global token consumption is expected to increase by more than 300 times. Meanwhile, the number of active intelligent agents is projected to reach 2.2 billion, handling over 400 trillion tasks annually.
