Acer’s Jason Chen: CPU Supply Constraints PC Market, Shipments Expected to Weaken in H2

Acer Chairman Jason Chen recently commented on the ongoing component shortages and price hikes, stating that CPU supply has become the primary bottleneck for the PC industry supply chain. He projects that the PC market will see weaker growth momentum in the second half of the year compared with the first half. Nevertheless, driven by product price increases, the overall industrial output value of the PC industry for the whole year is expected to surpass that of last year.
