On March 27th, Longsys launched two new storage products at the MemoryS 2026 Summit, positioning itself for edge-side AI storage.
The PCIe Gen5 mSSD uses the Lianyun MAP1802 controller, features a DRAM-less design, measures 20mm × 30mm, is compatible with M.2 2230, and offers sequential read/write speeds of up to 11GB/s and 10GB/s respectively, with a single drive capacity of 8TB and a five-layer thermal interface.
The SPU (WM8500) is a 5nm intelligent storage dedicated unit, supporting a DRAM-less architecture, with a single drive capacity of 128TB. It integrates 2:1 in-memory lossless compression and HLC advanced caching, and is paired with iSA storage intelligence to optimize AI model deployment efficiency.
