According to media reports, due to sluggish demand for smartphones, Qualcomm and MediaTek have released some of their 4nm and 5nm chip production capacity at TSMC. It is estimated that AMD, driven by robust server CPU shipments, will take over this capacity from TSMC. The adjustment is expected to reduce the production scale by approximately 20,000 to 30,000 wafers, equivalent to around 15 to 20 million mobile phone chips.
