According to foreign media reports, Samsung Electronics plans to invest approximately $1.5 billion to build a semiconductor testing plant in Vietnam. The facility is reportedly set to produce general-purpose chips, with an annual planned capacity of 153.3 billion GB of DRAM and 255.6 billion GB of NAND flash memory. Construction of the plant has already begun, and operations are expected to start in November next year.
