According to media reports, the inference-focused GPU Rubin CPX, originally scheduled for launch in the second half of this year, is now facing major uncertainty in its development direction. Industry insiders have revealed that NVIDIA has not yet placed any memory or substrate orders related to Rubin CPX, and even product development requests have largely stalled. Previously, NVIDIA announced that Rubin CPX would adopt GDDR7, but there has been no further development progress so far. In fact, there hasn't even been any discussion of alternative HBM solutions. The market has begun to question whether the project has been scrapped or has entered a full-scale restructuring phase.
